Colobopterus erraticus

Colobopterus erraticus– Erraticus has a tan/brown elytra, or wing covering, and can be measured at around 6-7 mm long. One difference you may be able to observe under magnification (or train yourself to notice with your eyes) is a single small bump on the head section of this insect. Without the magnification, this can be rather difficult to obeserve, but you may notice that the head almost seems to come to a small point in the middle. Tubercles can be great clues for telling the beetles apart, so I would suggest a magnifying glass or a cheap microscope for this task.
